Hitler Youth training manual – Die Kameradschaft – 1936 RARE!
The Nazis organized the youth into four divisions under the Hitler Youth. For boys 10-14, there was the Jungvolk, and after that the regular Hitler Jugend, for girls 10-14 the Jungmädel, thereafter the Bund Deutscher Mädel. Nearly all German kids were members. Each group held meetings, generally biweekly. The periodicals provided group leaders with guidance on how to train their groups. There were four periodicals in all (Die Kameradschaft, Die Jungenschaft, Die Mädelschaft, Die Jungmädelschaft).
This issue is from 1936 and covers the ‘Task of the Farmers’ – it’s showing it’s age with page yellowing and is a bit raggedy round the edges. However is still a fine example of Hitler Youth memorabilia that is increasing hard to find. unusually it has an NSDAP ink stamp on the cover suggesting it might have originally come from some official party library.
Very unusual, very collectable.
