Year 4 Anglo Saxon Workshop – September 2014
On 29th September, year 4 attended an Anglo Saxon
workshop with Gregory.
We learnt about their clothing, home life and
warriors. We also had the chance to write using
quill pens and ink and played games that were
often used by the Anglo Saxons. In the afternoon,
Gregory taught us Folk dancing. Year 4 really
enjoyed the workshop and learnt many fascinating
and interesting facts about the Anglo Saxons

During the Anglo-Saxon workshop Zeke dressed up
in a metal shirt and learned more about weaponry
from Geodric. Fardeen was judged for eating too
much cake in a court of law! Was he guilty or not
guilty? During the Anglo-Saxon times they wrote
using a quill. We tried writing using a quill, it was
not as easy as using a pen. We tried writing using
