Year 6 Gardening – June 2014

We planted seeds in small pots in the classroom and watered them carefully then a week later we placed them in the sun flower garden to harden off. After the half term holiday we returned in small groups to transplant our sunflowers into their final positions in the sunflower meadow.

Dear Parents,
We hope our families have had a good Easter break and that the children are now refreshed and ready to meet new challenges that await in the next half term.
SATS week starts on Monday 12th of May. A separate letter will be sent out explaining what is involved in this; however, if you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to come and ask any of the year 6 team.
Can we also remind you that, with the weather becoming warmer, children can bring in a bottle of water, should they wish.
